GP has long supported the semiconductor industry and electronic components manufacturers. The following project activities are related to work experience GP has with the world leader in semiconductor and integrated chip production. GP has supported this partner for several years in both a domestic and global role.

Significant project activities include:

• Supported the integration of a worldwide corporate finance application being rolled out to all major sites, including the development and maintenance of an on-line help program associated with the application.
• Managed on-site training implementation and coordination of training for up to 1,000 participants.
• Designed and implemented a short- and long-term training evaluation system with an electronic collection option.
• Supported launch facilities throughout the world via a training analysis jointly conducted by the client and GP personnel. This included performing on-site training analysis of the operations for Costa Rica, Malaysia, the Philippines, and US-based CPU manufacturing operations.
• Developed training implementation strategies to support the training required to ensure operational capabilities of over 2,500 personnel.
• Provided training solutions that enabled the client to take a product line from R&D to full production using a workforce with relatively no prior experience or comparable skill sets. The training cycle was successfully completed, qualifying operators within 60 days of new hire.
• Developed training materials and training aids for proprietary installation materials.
• Provided skills training to maintenance technicians, field supervisors, dispatchers, and managers for a fixed wireless system.
• Developed an internal technician certification program consisting of classroom, lab, and structured on-the-job training.
• Provided startup and test trial services and developed work tasking procedures for field technicians.
• Developed and led customer service role-playing exercises.
