Nuclear Plant Support

GP employees, both directly and in unique partnerships with critical industry members like the Nuclear Steam Supply Systems (NSSS) vendors, have successfully delivered cost-effective services that allow nuclear plants to respond to dual pressures: to maximize generating unit performance and operate safely.

Services include:

  • Design & licensing basis reconstruction [10 CFR 50.54 (f)]
  • FSAR re-baselining
  • Extended operating cycles
  • Minimize surveillance outages to increase capacity factor
  • Improve set-point margin for trip avoidance

Operations and Maintenance Support

Our main objective is to remain flexible in our approach and provide a scope of services truly driven by customer needs. GP has the capability to analyze a plant-specific problem; identify if training is an appropriate intervention; analyze the exact training needs; design the training program; develop the training materials whether such materials are paper, computer, or multimedia-based; implement the program or train the end users; and design and develop the refinement/measurement process based upon program feedback and evaluation. If desired, GP can even provide an evaluation to determine the return-on-investment (ROI) of such training.

GP remains on the cutting edge of technology and processes to provide the highest quality services to its clients. For instance, GP's multimedia capability continually expands, and GP can offer its clients interactive distance learning (IDL) services and Intranet/Internet training.
