Power Generation Services

At GP, we focus on plant-specific training and documentation designed to improve personnel performance and reduce costs, while complying with safety and environmental requirements. Our services include:

Operations Assessments

We assist our clients by providing an objective, third-party analysis of their plant's organization, training and procedure needs, personnel, and overall operation.

  • Gas Turbine/Combined Cycle Plant Training
GP has developed plant-specific training programs for over 50 different gas turbine and Combined Cycle projects. These programs have included General Electric, Westinghouse, Asean Brown Boveri, Siemens, and Pratt and Whitney gas turbines.
  • System Descriptions
GP will correlate all available information relative to components, systems, and operations to develop, in standard format, a clear and comprehensive description of each major system in the power plant. Included is information relative to the system function, primary and secondary flow-paths, major components, and controls, as well as the necessary graphics to support the presented information.

Operating Procedures

GP develops operating procedures that are consistent with industry practices, manufacturers' recommendations, and ongoing or planned operating practices at the client's plant. In developing operating procedures, GP conducts a detailed analysis of each plant system, including walking down the system and discussing the system's operations with the plant's operating personnel. GP then develops an operating procedure in a format that is clear, concise, and usable during plant operation and training.
