Training
The GP Difference in Training
A corporate core competency in training for 40 years puts GP in an ideal position to effectively transfer knowledge and skills to your people. We understand your pressures and remain flexible to your schedules to maximize your convenience and minimize disruption to your operations.
In addition, most of our experts come from emergency responder backgrounds, giving them hands-on experience in emergency management and an added sensitivity to the stresses you face each day. Add that to our depth of experience in homeland security, and you can rest assured you will not find a better training provider than GP.
Events in recent years have brought greater awareness to the need for increased preparedness for mitigating and responding to all-hazards threats. GP has emerged as a premier provider of approved Department of Homeland Security (DHS) courses and training that is compliant with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) to help first responders, first receivers, and other interested parties in public and private service better manage their response to emergencies.
Our Unique Approach to Training
Although GP takes an all-hazards approach to homeland security training, we also develop customized courses designed to address specific concerns, such as hurricane preparedness, bioterrorism, pandemic, and the entire breadth of CBRNE detection and response training. GP is the preferred provider of over 40 DHS-approved equipment training courses and practical exercises through the Domestic Preparedness Equipment Technical Assistance Program (DPETAP).
