Project Experience
GP has years of experience providing a wide spectrum of services to our pharmaceutical and other life science customers. Representative projects include providing plant launch support and clinical trial management. Below are a few snapshots of successful GP projects for some of our global clients in the life sciences industries.
Regulatory Compliance
Client Need: Deploy time-critical standard operating procedure (SOP) training—within weeks of procedure development—to a global workforce in order to achieve regulatory compliance.
GP's Solution: GP provided an Aviation Industry CBT Committee (AICC) compliant courseware template, authored in Lectora, that could be updated by internal staff as procedures changed. Smaller SOP's were completed by client staff, while GP provided full instructional system design, media development, and programming for larger procedures.
Leadership Development
Client Need: Reduce the three-week classroom training time for their "Leaders Developing Leaders" training program.
GP's Solution: GP worked with the client to redesign the program, converting the first and last weeks of the training into e-learning. This highly interactive training included printable work plans and journals that enabled the learner to come to class better prepared. The incorporation of e-learning also allowed for more effective use of the instructors' and attendees' time.
Drug Rollout Sales Training
Client Need: Provide a home learning system that would enable their sales force to become more knowledgeable in speaking with medical professionals about the disease that their drug treats.
GP's Solution: GP partnered with one of the leading medical content providers to create a blended solution using print and media rich e-learning materials on the anatomy and physiology behind deep vein thrombosis, which is treated by the client's product. The home learning system included a "FastTrack" feature that enabled learners to access critical information quickly, as well as tips from seasoned sales professionals and other learning features.
Training Outsourcing
Client Need: Reduce in-house training administration to allow training staff to concentrate on higher value-added tasks.
GP's Solution: GP provided outsourced training administration services that included course coordination, training facilities management, curriculum data processing, financial administration, and contract management data processing.
Capital Expansion Knowledge Transfer
Client Need: Transfer knowledge from the client's US workforce to its UK workforce in preparation for a plant launch.
GP's Solution: GP worked with the client to capture knowledge from their US workforce through interviews, observations, and procedural reviews. As a result of this process, a comprehensive training program was developed and delivered that met all FDA and European (EMER) regulatory requirements.
