Lean Six Sigma

We customize a program specific for your organization's needs whether it is Lean biased, Six Sigma biased, balanced, or focused on specific tools such as 5S, Failure Analysis, Standard Work, and Statistical Process Control.

Our team has fully integrated Lean and Six Sigma to reduce cycle time and variability. Lean provides a detailed and structured approach to the analysis, understanding, and improvement of processes. We use value stream mapping to analyze and fully understand customer demand, product flow, material flow, employee activity, and flexibility of current operations. We then apply Rapid Improvement (kaizen) events to quickly accomplish process improvements.

However, some process improvements require a more statistically-based analysis or more study. To these opportunities, we apply the Six Sigma DMAIC process. And in cases where the process is truly "broken," we apply Business Process Reengineering and Design for Six Sigma methods to design and implement a new, effective process that exceeds customer expectations. The results of our approach have been significant reductions in cost (30%), lead time (50%+), and inventory (75%). Our clients have achieved a return on investment of greater than 10 times in less than six months.
