Training Administration
Our on-going training administration services include:
- Class schedule setup and dynamic intranet posting of master schedule
- Recruiting and verification of instructors certified for program delivery
- Materials management, material forecasting, ordering and delivery
- Pre-course work emailed or mailed
- Confirmation and reconfirmation letters
- Class history reporting
Learning Management System
We have also developed and maintained a learning management system (LMS) for reducing costs and facilitating quality training management. This LMS includes the following employee self-serve features on the web:
- Online access to a library of web-based training courses
- Waitlisting for courses or registration for available classroom training sessions
- Viewing of personal training histories and training plans
- Ordering of printed materials including job aids, learning books, etc.
- Downloading of training materials
- Course exercises to support web-based-training
The LMS also includes administrator tools for:
- Broad and/ or detailed training/ budget planning and tracking of actual training with associated costs
- Course catalogue, instructors, training facilities, course materials, employee and other training related information set-up and maintenance
- Session set-up and status tracking
- Automated communications to students, instructors, locations etc with Communication history (session invitations, notifications, cancellations, pre-work requirements, reminders etc)
- Automated material order forms generated with session set-up based on required materials associated to each course
- Online capture of class attendance and evaluations for subsequent analysis and reporting
- Training history analysis and reporting
- Training requirements consolidation and reporting enabling dynamic viewing of demand for specific courses by major areas
- Handling of special training programs and training administrators
Training Outsourcing
We provided training outsourcing services in support of the following curriculum areas: management/soft skills, technical skills and knowledge, and computer skills for end users and IT specialists. We delivered approximately 450 classes per year in 2000 to 2002.
