Technical Training Support
GP provided new employee technical training support to a major data, voice, and Internet service provider at 13 primary locations across the United States. Approximately 50 full-time GP instructors provided training on the following topics:
- Safety
- Safe Driving
- First Aid/CPR
- Pole Climbing
- Cable Splicing
- Installation and repair
- Network Fundamentals
- Digital Transmission Fundamentals
- Fiber Optic Fundamentals
Courseware Design and Development
GP also assisted the telecommunications provider with multiple courseware design and development support. Each of the courses was designed using instructional systems design (ISD) methodologies and aligned to competency-based professional development initiatives for the organization. GP completed the design and development of all courseware materials, including leader guides, job aids, and participant guides for the following courses:
- Outside Plant Fault Locating
- Customer Service Representative Training
- Telephony Engineering Courses
- Tech of the Future courses
